Spitalfields will forever be remembered as the day I rediscovered my love for a sweet treat… the DONUT. Relentlessly trying to steer clear of anything that screams a ‘minute on the lips a lifetime on the hips’ (keyword here is trying). I mean how could I turn down something with a name ‘Sea Salt Caramel Banana Cream Donut’, whilst on holidays… Almost a crime!
And was it worth it… Yes! Every last bite. Just look at my face, like a girl purchasing her very first Chanel bag… Or in my case, a Chloe bag. Currently on my #wishlist
Visiting Spitafields for the first time, it was mandatory that I pulled on my #explorerjojo outfit, as there is so much more to do than eat Crosstown Doughnuts. Before visiting a new location or cafe, I always do a little stalk on Instagram – and the stalking paid off. I arrived at Spitafields prepared with an outfit to take me up and down the rows of fashion finds. London’s Summer can almost be mistaken as a warm Winter’s day in Sydney. When packing for Summer in Europe it’s all about layering. This crisp white lace up top with bell sleeves has become a staple item of mine on this recent trip to London. Not only does it scream on trend (could you put any more #ontrend pieces into a shirt?!), but it’s a lightweight linen which means even in London’s heat it isn’t too hot. Then as evening arrives I can throw on my trusty old favourite denim jacket. Another wardrobe favourite of mine at the moment is this asymmetrically khaki skirt, which is clearly only fit for a girl explorer – like me. Showing just enough leg, but not too much. Teaming it all together with trusty black boots and a neck tie. I was obviously prepared for a day at Spitafields.
Until next time Crosstown Doughnuts x
