As a child there were a handful of things which I loved about visiting grandma’s house… Along with being allowed to stay up late and watch movies and the mint slices she kept in the freezer… I loved her jewellery collection.
I still have fond memories rifling through boxes full of statement pearl necklaces and diamond rings, trying them on and pretending to be a grown up.
Now that I am all grown up, I like to purchase jewellery from across the globe to remind me of a certain place and time. On my first trip to NYC in 2011, I purchased a ring with a statement pink stone, and to this day I still wear it, reminding me of the memories created on my first big overseas trip.
On a recent trip to London I came across Joumanna jewellery, a new online destination for artisan jewellery design. The site stocks an eclectic mix of statement jewellery from ten designers from around the world which all tell a story.
I teamed up with Joumanna Jewellery to create a number of looks featuring pieces from they latest collection. You’ll realise just how much I love layering jewellery in each look.
