Finally an establishment that keeps me on my side of the bridge! I live on the lower north shore of Sydney and always find myself heading east for the trendy eateries… Until now!
The Buena in Mosman has just re-opened with new owners and a major refurbishment fit-out – with exposed wooden furniture, white marble tables (perfect for those food flatlays) and brown leather couches. When I was invited to try the new Buena, I grabbed Jessie and Wes and eagerly made the reservation.
We dined at Bar Vista, which is upstairs, at which we were instantly drawn into the design of this new space – it’s light, relaxed, and comforting – complete with a wood-fire pizza oven and a glass roof.
Highlights of the afternoon:
The roast chicken. This is a must!
Poke Tuna. This dish instantly made it onto my favourite foods list…
The fresh catch of the day – chargrilled king prawns – which only Jessie could successfully open.
The glass roof, almost making you feel like you’re outside, without dealing with the elements (*** no wind swept hair here)
Apparently they do Taco Thursday with $4 Tacos and $10 Margaritas… so I’m shocked I haven’t made my next booking yet!
