THE SUITCASE… A fashion accessory!

I’ve clocked up plenty of air miles over the past few years, especially over the past year. In the last 7 months I’ve been to London four times, LA, Vegas, and countless domestic trips – and as I write this I’m sitting at my local café, three 3 coffees in, feeling very jet lagged having just stepped off the plane from Bangkok, with a flight down to Adelaide in less than a week.

Clocking up this sort of travel millage, I’ve picked up a few tips and tricks along the way – but in my opinion travelling well all comes down to being prepared.

My London trips, door to door, are about 30 hours – so for me it all comes down to comfort, dressing travel appropriate and having my essentials onboard with me because you never know when you’ll incur an 8-hour delay…

In my opinion, it all comes down to having the right luggage. For me it has look good and be extremely light (so I can pack more clothes) – just like my new set from Lipault Paris.

It’s a three-piece stunning blue set fulfilling all my luggage needs:

  • A large and extra ultra light suitcase, with a silky soft nylon material – to squeeze all my clothes in (trust me it fits more than my old suitcase).
  • I love a good mini suitcase on wheels, especially a vinyl blue one. In here I’ll pack a change of clothes and shoes to change into when I land, toiletries, make-up and any heavy pieces like books and magazines.
  • I’ll then use a weekender for those pieces I need in easy reach whilst at the airport and flying like my go to toiletries and laptop.
  • And finally a small crossover handbag for your passport and lipstick. It’s a huge commitment to jump on a plane from Australia and head to the other side of the planet, but having the right luggage really does help make the trip that much easier and smoother. Trust me it’s worth the investment!
