Lets talk about denim. I’ve lost count of the number of denim shorts and mini skirts I have… (Yes I am all for the denim mini comeback). But sometimes when I am jumping between meetings, showings and events I like to feel a little more sophisticated.

 So I recently invested in a denim pencil skirt from General Pants at MidCity Centre.

 This ripped denim piece is a wardrobe staple; its a skirt every girl needs. Wear it during the summer with a skirt and a heel for a more glam look or team it with a cute tee and a pair of slides.

 This skirt will even take you through Sydney’s winter. Throw on an oversized knit and a pair of kicks and you’re off.

 Today I decided to pair the skirt with a sheer silk shirt from Witchery, my Alias Mae heels and a cane basket bag from Forever New for a I am almost on holidays look in 8 days look… Yes I am counting!
