I am not usually a morning person; I love a good sleep in, but on the mornings I do get out of bed early, I find myself asking, why I don’t do this more often.

There is something about witnessing the beginning of the day; it’s like seeing the world tick over. It’s particularly special in September. September marks the change in seasons. It’s the first month of spring, the mornings start turning golden and the excitement of summer is in the air.

I caught up with Danielle for breakfast one morning last week. We’re still in-between seasons, so it’s light layers and my trusty pair of mom jeans. I am still a little mustard obsessed, so I paired my Rosefield mustard watch with a pair of mustard mules.
