Located along the coastline of Tulum, Tata Tulum is an eco-chic design hotel set on a beautiful quite stretch of beach with that low-key relaxed vibe Tulum is known for. The hotel embraces natural beauty with 21 rooms either overlooking the turquoise Caribbean Sea or set within the peaceful gardens.
We visited Tata with 4 friends and spent our days making the most of Margarita happy hour in Tata’s infinity pool, which overlooks the coastline. Heaven! Another fun thing to do while staying at Tata is hire bikes and ride to the nearby beach bars, boutiques and the Mayan Ruins of Tulum. Be sure to do this in the morning or you’ll melt the heat of the day.
Tata Tulum’s on-site restaurant is all kinds of deliciousness. The restaurant serves a complimentary breakfast each morning. Think sand in your feet whilst sipping on your morning coffee.
We ate at the hotel restaurant for dinner twice during our stay. Be sure to order the grilled guacamole (the waitress makes this in front of you) and the ceviche, I ordered this at least 4 times during our stay. Try to stay at Tata on a Tuesday for ‘Taco Tuesday’ too, they have a special menu with over 20 tacos to choose from. I’d definitely recommend visiting one afternoon for cocktails in the pool followed by dinner, if you’re in Tulum and not staying at Tata too.
If you’re looking for a relaxing Mexican getaway, I’d highly suggest booking Tata Tulum. I promise you won’t regret it.
