Picture this: It’s late December, one of those balmy evenings with only a few weeks until the end of the year, and I am hosting a little Christmas Soirée with some of my nearest and dearest Instagramming friends in the most perfect summer setting.
It’s the end of the year, so we celebrated. We let our proverbial hair down and sipped on chilled wine literally within arms reach of the Sydney Harbour Bridge at one Sydney’s best harbour locations, Pier One.
We were lucky enough to be given an evening inside the newly renovated Admiral Suite, located down the pointy end of Dawes Point. But let’s talk about the proximity of the hotel balcony to the Harbour Bridge again, it’s one of a kind and it really adds to the magical atmosphere of the location when the harbour’s daily activity slows right on dusk.
The girls (and Wes) arrived at suite 214 late afternoon and upon arrival guests were encouraged to kick off their heels and slide into pairs of Hush Puppies… cue total relaxation. For food, a menu was curated to include a few of my personal favourites: oysters, a charcuterie spread, cheese (of course) and giant bowl of Maltesers.
But the fun didn’t stop there. We had a view? Yes. A mouth-watering menu? Yes and a bespoke touch-up and beauty gifting station care of Ardell Lashes and M.A.C – YES! (Who doesn’t want a brow check, a lash enhance and a lip plump?)
And just to top it off – what’s a girl’s night without a new wardrobe addition thanks to a haul of Apéro The Label classic tees and Mon Purse Bum Bags. And there was HP Australia Sprocket printers for the girls to print their favourite images.
A special shout out to one of my favourite Australian labels, Talulah for kitting me out with my‘couldn’t have been any more perfect’ dress – pink and full of sparkles.
An extra big thanks to all girls and Wes for such a lovely evening, bring on 2020 with you all.
